This story was written by the bride and groom together—composed like a tale to read and enjoy.

Let’s begin on 17th January 2020—the very first day Eloho received a chat from Damilare on Snapchat about a video and picture she had posted.

In his words, it all began with
“Nice post. Kindly assist me with the song’s title and artist name.”
😂😂 Till today, Eloho still believes he only used that as a scope to slide into her DM. But well, scope or no scope—just look at where they are today!

Of course, Eloho answered his request, and that’s when the conversations started flowing. They chatted a lot, got to know each other better. At the time, Damilare wasn’t even in the country. Eloho had just finished NYSC and was learning a skill, but unfortunately, she was stuck in a useless, backward relationship 😂—so nothing more than friendship could happen between them.

By 2022, they closed the chapter of “Mr. Damilare trying to start something with Miss Eloho” because she had entered into a very serious relationship.

But as time went on, destiny kept working. Their connection was deeper than Snapchat or DMs—it was also through family. You see, Damilare is a very close friend of Eloho’s brother. They go way back to secondary school days. Coincidentally, Snapchat suggested Eloho as a friend, and funny enough, she had actually had his number saved on her phone for years as “Alabi”—because her brother once used that SIM or phone. She never pieced it together at the time, though.

Even more surprising—their fathers once worked together at CBN! Now tell me, dear reader, aren’t they just meant to be? Truly, Damilare and Eloho are soulmates—and that’s on period 😂.

Fast forward to September 2023—they gave love another chance. And that was the beginning of forever. Officially, they started dating on 27th January 2024. With time, their love grew stronger, leading them here, to the beautiful stage of marriage.

On 19th October 2024, Damilare proposed to Eloho, sealing their love story with a promise of forever. And the love continues—and will continue—till their dying days.
